David and I woke up at 6:30 am today to get ready for family pictures at Portrait Innovations. I scheduled it early so they wouldn't be running behind and Kate would not yet be sleepy or hungry. I think we got some good ones. Ben did great, besides his fake smile in the majority of the pictures. It was difficult to get Kate to stay where we put her. She kept crawling away. I know I am biased, but I sure think we have 2 cute kids. It was so hard to choose. Here are some of our favorites, as well as the new ones I posted on the top and side of the blog. Enjoy!

Those are some cute pictures! My favorites are the ones of Kate on holding onto the "1" block. And, kuddos for taking the kids solo on a long flight. It's not easy. I did it at Thanksgiving time and I hope to never do it again.
These are adorable! I love Portrait Innovations - they do a good job. The block picture is especially adorable. Your kids are very photogenic!!
Great pics! You have a beautiful little girl and a handsome little guy!

Karen-
I'm glad that you found my blog. I agree it is a small world! It's fun reading your blog and seeing pictures of your cute kids. I laughed by head off on the "Life According to Ben". How old is he? He sounds like his mom! I knew you were in Oklahoma. Aren't you close to Oklahoma City? We'll have to stay in touch.

Cute pics! Your kids are adorable! It was so fun getting a chance to visit with you and Janell a couple weeks ago. I just wish my kids would have gotten in a good nap before the visit... they were a little grumpy and out of sorts! Oh well, it was great to catch up. Thanks for making the time and drive to get together.
SOOOO Cute!
Wow! I don't think any of you could take a bad picture. They turned out really good.
Karen,
Your pictures turned out so cute! You have a beautiful family! I wish I could have taken Kolby there but I will definitely have to take my future kids there!
I did nothing but cry a good needed cry as I read about your experience dreaming about my sweet baby Kolby. That is so sacred to me and will always be a story I can treasure. It touched me in such a wonderful way in knowing that he is happy. I am so greatful that you shared your dream with me, it really means a lot to me. I just wanted to tell you thank you. It came at just the right time. I needed to hear that.
I also want to tell you thank you for being such a good friend to me. You are so genuine. You are always there for me and always willing to talk to me or listen to me. You are a good friend. I hope we can continue to become better friends and get to know each other. I'm exited to get to know you better.
